Getting A Site
The first step to getting a website is a domain registration. Without a domain pointing to your hosting account, people cannot get to your website easily unless they go through an IP address. Every website on the internet has a domain registered for their website or a subdomain. If you already have a domain, you can create a subdomain for your website if you want to. When you do go looking for a domain name to register, you can check and see if the name you are looking for has been taken or not. If it is a very common name, it is most likely that it has already been taken by someone because thousands of domains are being registered daily. You can see if the domain name has been dropped so you re-register it or come up with a completely new domain name for your website. There are also other extensions to consider.
