Medicaid for you

Some people get the terms Medicaid and Medicare mixed up, however that is a problem. The Medicaid and medicare programs are both separate and different from each other. First, Medicare is a plan that is a health insurance program (federal) made specifically for older adults. For Medicaid, these health insurance plans are made to help families with low incomes. The difference between the two is that Medicare will not cover health care expenses if they are long term. The benefit of medicaid is that they will cover some long term health care such has the cost for living in a nursing home. If you are looking to get a medicaid plan for your family, go on the internet to have a search at what options you have available to you in your state. If you are unsure, ask a qualified professional or you can just call the health care insurance company to speak to their support team who can answer your questions for you.
